Engineer (Engineering Department)

Job Responsibilities:

Supporting mass production lines (Flexi project) by providing technical support and troubleshooting unforeseen issues in production line (material issue, machine issue, etc.).

Create or revise work instructions upon customer requests.

Initiate ECN for customer-requested changes.

Order spare parts for wear and tear of machine and equipment.

To configure artwork for labels.

Line improvement to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost.

Develop and implement temporary rework / sorting flow for short term issues.

Conduct head count analysis that is needed to run production efficiently.

Analyze production lines to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

Update BOMs according to production material usage and customer requests.

Update the FMEA to reflect any design, process, material changes.

Provide technical problem-solving and root cause analysis within the 8D report for customer complaints.

Assist production team to change the setting on the software when needed.

Prepare engineering documentation to support the customer audit.

Conduct GR&R (Gage repeatability and reproducibility).



Requirements:

Degree / Higher Education (Technical and Engineering discipline preferred)

At least 1 year related working experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in understanding engineering details, drawings, design principles, and technical terminology.

Thrives in a fast-paced work environment while delivering work in a professional manner

Creative, innovative, strong team player, team working with all departments and able to lead given tasks.

IT literate such as Microsoft Office, ERP, MES system, CAD, and SolidWorks.
