Executive - Engineering

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To prepare detailed designs for lightweight steel roof trusses using AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
2. To prepare quotations for lightweight steel roof trusses.
3. To prepare shop drawings and ensure the drawings are accurate.
4. To prepare quantity and cutting lists for steel roof trusses and accessories.
5. To attend site inspections when required.
6. To ensure the correct fittings and accessories are used during installation.
7. To provide suitable and cost-effective design solutions for technical issues.
8. To coordinate with the relevant departments on design, quotation and site requirements.
9. To support the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
10. To perform any other business-related duties assigned by the Management.

REQUIREMENT
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Technical Drafting or a related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in product design or technical drawing.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical, responsible and detail-oriented.
• Able to complete assigned work within the required timeline.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
• Experience in PROCAD (Quick Series) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of lightweight steel roof truss design and installation.
• Able to read and prepare technical drawings.
• Able to prepare quotations, quantity lists and cutting lists.
