Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of Eastfound Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting, while also leading initiatives to optimize the company's financial performance and growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive financial expertise, and a deep understanding of corporate finance, compliance, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
Financial Management: Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control.
Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure the company complies with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies while identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Cash Flow & Capital Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation to optimize financial health.
Internal Controls & Audits: Establish and maintain internal controls to prevent financial fraud and enhance transparency.
Business Partnering: Collaborate with other executives to drive financial and operational strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the CEO and board of directors, offering insights for decision-making.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to maintain high performance and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial institutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of financial leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
Expertise in financial forecasting, risk management, and corporate finance.
Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or multinational business operations is an advantage.
Candidates proficient in Mandarin are preferred to ensure effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
