Kitchen Helper

Key responsibilities


Assisting with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning of ingredients

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment

Managing waste disposal and ensuring proper sanitation standards are maintained throughout the kitchen

Supporting chefs with plating and garnishing of dishes as directed

Receiving and storing food deliveries, checking for quality and expiration dates

Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed during service

Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Assisting with general kitchen maintenance and deep cleaning tasks

Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations
