Mechanical Fitter

Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify and address potential issues.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing reliability of equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems in a timely manner.

Execute routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.

Carry out repairs on faulty machinery, components, or systems.

Replace worn or defective parts and ensure proper alignment and functionality.

Coordinate with other departments to procure necessary replacement parts.

Install new equipment and machinery according to specifications and safety standards.

Participate in the implementation of upgrades or modifications to existing machinery.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Create and update equipment manuals and documentation as needed.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.

Assist Maintenance Planner to prepare Permit to Work (PTW) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Work closely with production teams to understand their needs and address any equipment-related issues promptly.

Collaborate with other maintenance team members to share knowledge and best practices.

Participate in training that provided by management.

Participate in plant commissioning.

Operate Forklift Truck and lifting equipment.

Assist Maintenance Planner in implementing 6S initiatives maintains a clean, organized and safe work area by complying with documentation, procedural and applicable regulatory requirements (such as safety, environmental and housekeeping especially maintenance workshop and store)
