PLC Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Debugging & Optimization: Perform on-site PLC program debugging, parameter configuration, and performance optimization; resolve technical issues (e.g., troubleshooting, latency, logic errors).

Maintenance & Upgrades: Maintain control systems for automated equipment; participate in retrofits (e.g., PLC updates, hardware upgrades, protocol adaptation).

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with mechanical/electrical design, process, and production teams to align requirements, review solutions, and deliver projects.

Documentation & Standardization: Prepare technical documents (e.g., program manuals, wiring diagrams, debug reports); promote standardization of control solutions.

Support: Assist sales team in resolving equipment issues at client sites; provide technical guidance/training.

Basic Requirements:

Education: Diploma or above.

Experience: 2+ years in PLC programming/debugging (exceptional fresh graduates with project experience considered).

Certificates: Preferred—Chargman A4 License, PLC certifications (e.g., Siemens S7-1200/1500, Mitsubishi FX/Q Series).

Skill Requirements:
PLC Programming:

Proficient in ≥1 mainstream PLC (e.g., Siemens S7/LOGO, Mitsubishi FX/Q, Omron CP1E/CP1L, ABB).

Skilled in Ladder, ST, FBD; familiar with SFC design.

Knowledge of PLC protocols (Modbus, Profinet, EtherCAT, CANopen) for HMI/drive/sensor integration.

Electrical Design & Field Application:

Ability to interpret schematics/wiring diagrams; select/debug components (relays, sensors, actuators).

Troubleshoot industrial issues (interference, signal loss, grounding, failures).

Experience with PLC version control/backup (e.g., TIA Portal, GX Works3).

Preferred Skills:

Motion control (servo/stepper, multi-axis), PID tuning, or machine vision experience.

SCADA (WinCC, Kingview) or MES interface development for data monitoring.

IoT knowledge (OPC UA, edge computing) or smart retrofits.

Priority Given to Candidates With:

Automation project experience in large-scale manufacturing (auto, 3C, energy, food/pharma).

Full-cycle automation equipment development experience (requirement analysis to delivery).

English/Chinese literacy (able to read PLC manuals/technical docs).
