Production Planner

What you'll be doing

- Plan and schedule daily/weekly production activities to meet delivery deadlines.

- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow.

- Monitor material availability, inventory levels, and update ERP systems.

- Track production progress, resolve scheduling issues, and adjust plans when needed.

- Analyse capacity and identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency.

- Plan production to meet customer delivery requirements.

- Create and update production planning documents, work orders, and BOM accuracy.

- Responsible for QMS of the planning department documentation.

What we're looking for

Relevant degree in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry

Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software, as well as data analysis tools

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
