Job Descriptions

Oversee Milling and Spray Drying Operations
Manage day-to-day operations of ball mills, attritors, and spray dryers to ensure consistent material quality and production output.

Maintain Product Quality Standards
Monitor and control key parameters such as particle size distribution, slurry viscosity, and moisture content to meet formulation specifications.

Supervise and Lead Team
Lead and develop a team of technicians and operators, ensuring proper training, task allocation, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Coordinate Maintenance Activities
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in collaboration with the maintenance department to minimize downtime.

Implement and Enforce Safety Protocols
Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and environmental regulations; conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Process Monitoring and Improvement
Analyze process data, identify inefficiencies or quality issues, and implement corrective actions or improvements (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).

Inventory and Material Management
Monitor raw material stocks and consumption rates; coordinate with procurement to ensure uninterrupted supply and accurate inventory records.

Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams
Work closely with Quality Control, R&D, Production Planning, and Procurement teams for seamless workflow and new product trials.

Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate production records, equipment logs, shift reports, and KPI tracking (e.g., output rates, rejections, energy consumption).

Support New Product Development
Assist in scaling up lab trials, modifying raw material preparation processes for new formulations, and conducting pilot runs

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or any related field.

In-depth knowledge of ceramic raw materials (e.g., kaolin, feldspar, ball clay).

Proven leadership experience in managing teams of technicians/operators.

Strong planning and scheduling skills for production and maintenance.

Skilled in process optimization using tools like Lean and Six Sigma

Familiarity with SCADA/DCS/PLC systems.

Effective communication across other departments.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Strong awareness of safety and environmental regulations.

High sense of responsibility, initiative, and decision-making under pressure.
