About Us
GWAN SENG SUPPLY CHAIN (M) SDN BHD is a growing logistics and supply chain company providing sea freight, import and export, customs clearance and related logistics services. We are committed to providing reliable and efficient solutions while building long-term relationships with our customers.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Import & Export Sales Executive to join our team in Perai, Penang.
You will be responsible for developing new customers, maintaining existing customer relationships and promoting our sea freight, import/export and customs clearance services.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop new customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
Promote sea freight import and export services.
Handle customer enquiries, quotations, follow-ups and sales closing.
Identify new business opportunities and actively develop new accounts.
Have basic knowledge of FCL / LCL and sea freight rates.
Understand import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures.
Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, warehouses and internal operations teams.
Follow up on shipment status and assist customers with any issues.
Prepare quotations and proposals according to customer requirements.
Build long-term relationships with customers.
Achieve assigned KPI and sales targets.
What We're Looking For
Experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics or Customs Clearance is preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Sales or business development experience is an advantage.
Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
Good knowledge of sea freight, import/export and customs clearance is an advantage.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated, responsible and willing to learn.
Able to meet sales targets and KPIs.
Commission & Benefits
Attractive Commission: 30% of Profit
Basic salary based on experience.
Sales incentives based on performance.
