SHIPPING MANAGER

Responsibilities
1 Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ocean freight department and resolve any operational-related problem.
2 Work closely with all departments, such as trading, risk, treasury, factory operation to ensure smooth coordination.
3 Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, depots, port operators, and other key stakeholders.
4 Negotiate pricing, services and terms with the approved liners and agents, to max monthly Ocean GP.
5 Ensure compliance with all international trade and shipping regulations.
6 Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting ocean freight operations.
7 Manage and resolve any shipping-related issues or complaints
8 Manage the logistics team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth department operations.
9 Collaborate with the management team to plan and implement the company's supply chain strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
10 Perform other ad-hoc duties/tasks as assigned.
