Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) (Yellow Book)

Key Responsibilities (What the employee will do)
-Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards.
-Monitor compliance with safety regulations, site rules, and PPE requirements.
-Assist in preparing HIRARC, JSA, and safe work procedures.
-Monitor high-risk activities, including work at height, scaffolding, lifting, and excavation.
-Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
-Report and assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses.
-Maintain safety records and follow up on corrective actions.
-Monitor emergency preparedness and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors.

Job Requirements (Education, experience, skills, languages)
-Must possess a valid DOSH/JKKP Yellow Book (registered Site Safety Supervisor).
-Education: Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
-Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant construction-site experience; 2–5 years preferred.
-Good knowledge of Malaysian OSH legislation, HIRARC, and JSA.
-Languages: Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; English; or Chinese is an advantage.
-Skills: Basic Microsoft Office skills.
-Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
-Willing to work at project sites and travel outstation when required.
