Solution Engineer Manager, Logistics

Our client is a leading global integrated logistics provider with a strong Southeast Asia footprint — spanning freight forwarding, contract logistics, and supply chain management across automotive, semiconductor, FMCG, electronics, and pharmaceutical industries.

A high-visibility role bridging commercial ambition and operational reality — from pre-sales consultation through to post-implementation support.

Lead warehouse solution proposals for regional tenders — space utilization, process flow, resource modelling, and pricing support

Support sales hearings to understand customer logistics needs and translate them into end-to-end or warehousing solutions

Analyze customer operations to identify process improvement and value-added design opportunities

Visualize warehouse process flows from BRD requirements; calculate productivity and handling resource needs

Calculate warehouse costings and resources for new RFQ opportunities

Collaborate with commercial, operations, IT, and finance teams to align solutions with business objectives

Validate local costing assumptions with in-country teams

Support project implementation, ensuring solution continuity from design to execution

Provide post-sales support including continuous improvement and solution refinement

Facilitate knowledge sharing and training to build design capability within country teams

Requirements

Min. 5 years in contract logistics or 3PL warehouse operations

Hands-on experience in warehouse process design and operational improvement (Lean, 5S, cost reduction)

Strong knowledge of resource modelling for warehousing RFQs

Solid understanding of WMS, automation systems, and supply chain optimization

High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for costing models and solution presentations

Project management exposure is a plus; freight forwarding knowledge is a bonus
