TEST ENGINEER

Develop and implement testing procedures for ICT (In-Circuit Test), FCT (Functional Circuit Test), program burn-in, and custom test fixtures.

Define test parameters, limits, and pass/fail criteria based on product specifications.

Program and debug test software/scripts on platforms such as Checksum.

Maintain and calibrate test equipment, jigs, fixtures, and instruments to ensure accuracy and availability.

Design or modify test fixtures to accommodate new products or changes.

Evaluate and select appropriate test equipment and measurement tools.

Lead test-related activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), from planning to validation and release.

Drive cross-functional teams in test engineering projects, including fixture development, software integration, and hardware design review.

Provide technical guidance to test engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure high performance.

Provide immediate technical support for test-related issues on production lines.

Analyze test yield data to identify trends, recurring issues, and potential design or process weaknesses.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on test failures using tools such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies).

Ensure all processes comply with industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 if applicable).
